The April 2022 edition of Competition Law Update discusses the various antitrust and merger control decisions from the months of February – March 2022. Some of the recent decisions in the competition space, include findings of abuse of dominance against the National Egg Co-ordination Committee, bid-rigging in tenders by public sector banks, as well as, initiation of an investigation against Star India. The CCI also imposed gun-jumping penalty on Adani Green for part consummation of its acquisition of S.B. Energy.
